Public Charitable Trust · Est. 2009

Empowering minorities & the underprivileged.

Since 2009, we've worked education, livelihoods, health and climate resilience into daily life across Hazaribagh, Chatra and Giridih — one household, one skill, one classroom at a time.

Who we are

A trust rooted in dignity, built on community.

Ambedkar Foundation is a registered public charitable trust working across Hazaribagh, Chatra and Giridih. We partner directly with families and self-help groups on education, sustainable livelihoods, health, and legal empowerment — building programmes around what communities tell us they need, not what looks good on paper.

Registered under 12A, 80G and CSR-1, every rupee we receive is tracked back to a village, a household, or a classroom.

Where We Work

Six focus areas, one goal.

Each programme is designed around what the communities we serve tell us they need most — not what looks good on paper.

Voices From The Field

Stories from the people we work with.

Sunita Devi

Joining the self-help group changed how my family plans for the year. We save together, we borrow together, and for the first time I have a say in how our household spends money.
